27th. Annual Flying M Ranch Fly-In and Campout,
and 19th Annual Cub Migration Oct. 26-28, 2012

The Flyin is definitely ON for this year with good moisture and no drought conditions. We’er having a 27th annual Re-Do! The runway is in good condition also with a professional rolling on Oct 2.

Work Party weekend is Oct 20-21, and all volunteers available are requested to come and assist in cleanup. The drought damage to trees has been extreme this year, and the deadfall have caused issues.

Meeting Countdown

There are several ranches by this name (as your web browser will show), but none quite like this.  We don’t raise cattle anymore, we just have a good time once a year with our annual weekend Fly-In and Campout.  If you are a pilot, fly in to our unique 4000 ft. grass runway, park the plane, pitch your tent, kick back, kick tires, whatever, and just enjoy the show rain or shine.  We have food, we have minimal but adequate camping facilities, we have a very relaxing atmosphere. Meet up with old friends, and make some new ones.  If you have a J3, all the better.  There are always a mess of them that show up.  Hang up your goggles? Bring the RV, motorhome, or stay in one of the local hotels!

2008 had over 542 aircraft and around 2000 guests. It was perfect weather and like 2007, the best flyin in the state of Texas, ever!
